Mercedes-Benz Cars To Get Expensive By Up To 5 Per Cent From April 2023 – Check New Prices

Mercedes-Benz India has announced a hike in the prices of its models sold in the Indian market. The company revealed that there will be a price hike of up to 5 percent for its Indian model line-up and the new prices will be applicable from April 1, 2023. The sharp rise in foreign exchange over the past 4 months, coupled with rising input costs, has forced this price correction for the company to maintain a sustainable business operation. However, the brand will continue to provide smart financial solutions through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to enable an optimum cost of ownership experience for the customers.

In addition, the depreciation of the currency against the euro, coupled with increased input costs, including logistics costs, is exerting significant pressure on the Company’s overall operating costs. A combination of these factors has prompted Mercedes-Benz India to revise the ex-showroom price of its model range to offset some of these costs. While the company absorbs significant costs, some of this will be passed on to consumers in order to maintain a profitable business.

Mercedes-Benz Price Range:

The prices of Mercedes-Benz cars will be revised by Rs 2 lakh for the A-Class Limousine and GLA SUV, Rs 7 lakh for the top-end S 350d Limousine to Rs 12 lakh for the top Mercedes-Maybach S 580 luxury limousine. Hence, the A-Class Limousine now costs Rs 44 lakh, ex-showroom. Prices for the higher C- and E-Class start at Rs 60 lakh and Rs 76 lakh respectively. Coming to the SUVs, the GLE will retail at a starting price of Rs 90 lakh, where as the GLS now costs Rs 1.29 crore, ex-showroom.
