One such person is Yusuf Ibrahim. The man is in charge of Aaliya’s security and is regularly seen with the actor.
On Friday, 11,000 users liked Yusuf’s picture with the newly married couple. The security advisor posed with Alia and Ranbir and wrote: “Sh. Mabrook, Mr and Mrs Kapoor. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.”
Yusuf on Thursday took over security at the most talked-about wedding of the year. A video shared by the paparazzi showed how Yusuf was handling the crowd of paparazzi who were waiting outside the couple’s house. In the video, the security chief was seen distributing sweets and refreshments to the paparazzi along with Alia’s publicists.
A look at Yusuf’s Instagram profile reveals how the security consultant has been with Alia during the recent promotions for Gangubai Kathiawadi. He also accompanied the actress to Berlin where her most recent film premiered at the Berlinale.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Yusuf has been with Alia for the longest time. He has been with the 29-year-old actress during extensive shooting schedules, red carpet events and promotions. The report quoted a source as saying, “Yusuf Ibrahim was single-handedly managing the massive security arrangements to ensure the safety of the bride and groom, celebrity guests and to manage the massive paparazzi crowd deployed outside the wedding venue. “
Apart from handling security for Ranbir and Alia’s wedding, Yusuf also partially handled the wedding security of actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif last year.
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on Thursday at their residence in Mumbai in the presence of their close friends and family members.
