Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Sachin Shroff grabbed headlines when he replaced Shailesh Lodha as the new Taarak Mehta in the popular comedy show. And once again he is in headlines for getting married again. The actor, who is currently playing the titular character in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, married Chandni Kothi in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai.

Sachin and his family were tight-lipped about their supposed identity before marriage. According to reports, she is a good friend of Sachin’s sister. But in the reception, Sachin introduced Chandni to the media and fans. Chandni is an event organizer and interior designer. Sachin and Chandni have known each other for a long time as she is a good friend of his sister.
Talking to ETimes about the need for secrecy around Chandni’s identity before marriage, Sachin said, “I didn’t keep it a secret. There was no need because after all everyone would know about him. We referred to her as Mrs. for fun. My cousins decided to create curiosity and introduced her grandly at the cocktail party.
Talking about how they came together, Sachin shared, “My family was asking me to remarry, and I asked them to find a match for me. He suggested that I consider settling down with Chandni. I had known her for years, but more as my sister’s friend. We felt we were compatible and could take the plunge. so here we are!”
While Lodha had been playing the infamous role for over 14 years, Sachin made a seamless transition soon after hitting the small screen and impressed fans alike. Sachin Shroff was earlier married to actress Juhi Parmar. In 2018, the couple got divorced after nine years of marriage. They also have a 10-year-old daughter named Samaira. Sachin’s daughter lives with Juhi and is often seen in his social media videos.
