It is always difficult to crack the Civil Services Examination. To secure a good rank, one must treat everything around as white noise and concentrate on your course. These exams require a candidate to not only sacrifice his precious time in his 20s but also the luxuries, comforts and happiness that many experience. However, once they clear the test, life smiles upon them and gives them a chance to enjoy everything they had sacrificed. Akanksha Gupta from Dehradun, Uttarakhand is one such candidate whose sacrifices paid off as she secured 4th rank in UP PCS 2022 mains exam.
Akanksha was trying to crack the exam since six years. While she was focused and determined during her previous attempts as well, her results were never as good as she had hoped. However, she did not give up and kept attempting the exam again and again. Ultimately his sixth attempt was successful.
Coaching classes are popular in the north for the candidates who want to crack these exams. However, Akanksha never joined. Nor did he ever think of connecting with someone online. She revealed that she has seen so many ups and downs in the last six years that she also used to believe that luck is also a factor in the game. She says her second-last effort was surprising. She thought she had done well in the exam and expected a rank but when the result came, she was shocked to know that she had not passed it.
Akanksha started her preparation for Civil Services Examination in 2018. His first three attempts were unsuccessful. Then in 2021, when she attempted the paper for the fourth time, she cleared both mains and prelims. However, he was disqualified in the interview round for not scoring well in one of the Mains subject papers. Before the successful attempt, she had cleared the prelims twice and cleared the mains twice.
Akanksha Gupta completed her BTech in Computer Science & Engineering from DIT Dehradun in 2017 and started preparing for Civil Services Exam next year. He has also given the mains of Uttarakhand PCS 2022 but the result of the exam is not out yet.
