Gehlot said in a statement, “It is a matter of pride for us. It is our endeavor that the medical facilities in the state should be even better. For this, the medical infrastructure is being continuously strengthened from the cities to the villages.”
Rajasthan is a state that is moving fast towards setting up medical colleges in all districts, the CM said while addressing a virtual foundation stone-laying program of intensive care units in 17 hospitals across 11 districts.
He said that Rajasthan has fulfilled the necessary conditions with full preparation, due to which our steps can go towards setting up medical colleges in government sector in 30 districts.
“We are making efforts to get government medical colleges approved in the remaining three districts.
Gehlot also claimed that Rajasthan is emerging as a leader in the field of health services due to the continuous efforts of the state government.
He claimed that people from other states of the country are coming to Rajasthan to take advantage of our medical facilities.
Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that taking lessons from the harsh experiences of the second wave, the state government is working expeditiously on plans to increase oxygen production and pediatric units.
“We are moving towards achieving 1,000 metric tonnes of oxygen production capacity in the state.
