New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI) With just three days left for the MCD election campaign, senior BJP leaders, including Union ministers and chief ministers of party-ruled states, on Wednesday held around 100 roadshows and public meetings across Delhi to woo voters.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Himachal Pradesh’s Jairam Thakur also took part in the election campaign.

Gadkari said, “Delhi has two main problems – traffic jam and pollution – and the Center is spending Rs 60,000 crore to solve both the problems.

“The people of Delhi know that the BJP is a symbol of development and they will vote for the party in the MCD elections,” Gadkari said.

The AAP has claimed that it will topple the BJP, which ruled the civic body for 15 years, with its convenor Arvind Kejriwal claiming victory in 200 of the 250 MCD wards.

The MCD elections will be held on December 4 and the results will be declared on December 7 after the counting of votes.
