Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi on Tuesday said that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is planning to send its school teachers outside the national capital for vocational training.

The mayor said this after inaugurating the three-day science fair at Karol Bagh of Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya JJ Shadipur, Pandav Nagar.

Oberoi looked at the models displayed in the exhibition and said that there is no dearth of talent among the children of MCD schools, they just need to be channelised in the right direction.

On this occasion, the Mayor also honored many teachers.

The Mayor of Delhi also said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has released a fund of Rs 400 crore to improve the infrastructure of MCD schools, which will be used for repair of school buildings, construction of new buildings, recruitment of security personnel as well as The data will be used for recruitment.
