MS Steyn won the Bigg Boss 16 trophy with Rs 31 lakh and a luxurious car. While the rapper was not interested in the reality show in the earlier months, he showcased much of his singing and comedic talent in the latter half of the show. His huge fan base and the support of the troupe pushed him to the grand finale where he lifted the winning trophy. Stan defeated Shiv Thackeray and Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary. His fans cherished his victory but many also called him an ‘undeserving winner’ on social media. Now the rapper has finally broken his silence on it and said that he doesn’t care about people who are ‘jealous’ of his win.
MC Steyn told The Indian Express, “I honestly don’t care for them, I don’t care mama. I really like people who are jealous. It’s a very natural feeling in a human being. One has to just Need to admit it wasn’t meant to be for them. Like most fans, I’m shocked but I think I deserved the win.”
Let us tell you that MC Stan is an Indian rapper, songwriter, music producer and musician. He became popular after the release of his song ‘Khuja Mat’ in 2019. He was introduced to rap music by his brother. His one-liners like ‘Shemdi’, ‘Appreciate you’, ‘Haq Se’, ‘Feel you Bro’ and ‘Hindi Matribhasha’ and ‘Raavs’ have caught everyone’s attention across the country.
In his first post after winning the Bigg Boss 16 trophy, the rapper claimed that he fulfilled his mother’s wish by rapping on national TV. sharing photos with host Salman Khanhe wrote, “WE CREATED HISTORY. STAYED REAL THROUGHOUT, REPPED HIPHOP ON NATIONAL TV. Ammi ka Sapna poora hogaya and P-town trophy aagayi. Jis jis ne pyaar dikhaya sabko Haq hai. Ending tak Stan.”
Talking about defeating his dear friend Shiv Thakare, MC Stan said, “Dil se bura laga (felt really bad that he lost). Par show shayad personality ke upar tha usne apna side rakha maine apna. Bahut kam maatra se haara, abhi usme main bhi kya kar sakta hoon (But, I guess the show was all about personality. He lost by a very small margin. I too can’t do much in this situation as well).”
Shiva, on the other hand, was happy that MC Stan won. Me and Priyanka were good players, he claimed. MC Steyn is a good person and never played for trophy. And that’s what made him a winner. I’ve always said whenever I’ve been asked that Stan was the perfect fit for the show. What he wins today, he deserves, we have a right brother! (He fully deserves to be the winner).”
Shiva also said that it feels great that the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ trophy has come to Mandali’s house, referring to the Marathi crowd.
