A fire broke out on Thursday in the northern city of Kiryat Shamona near the Lebanese border, amid a widespread heatwave running across Israel, N12 reported on Thursday afternoon.
Several roads have been evacuated and citizens have been requested to stay inside their homes and close windows to prevent smoke from entering.
Firefighters are present at the spot.
