Marvel’s Kevin Feige Gives An Update On Robert Downey Jr’s MCU Return

The Rumors of Robert Downey Jr’s return as Iron Man in the MCU have been speculated for years, but now, all that speculations have ended as Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed that RDJ will not be returning in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. RDJ and his character Iron Man is one of the most loved MCU superheroes. People were left heartbroken when his character died in ‘Avengers: Endgame’. Since then, the fans have been demanding Tony Stark’s return to the franchise.

Recently, Speaking with Vanity Fair, Feige opened up about it and said, “We are going to keep that moment and not touch that moment again. We all worked very hard for many years to get to that, and we would never want to magically undo it in any way.”

RDJ, first appeared as Iron Man in 2008’s Iron Man, which kicked off the franchise which now includes 33 movies and eight Disney+ shows, with many more on the way. He reprised his role in nine MCU movies before his character’s death.

Iron Man was rumored to return in the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, According to reports, the studio was planning on bringing back all the OG Avengers in it. Later, another rumors started making rounds on Internet claiming that RDJ would appear as Tony Stark in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’.
