Maruti Suzuki rewards for your contribution? 100 employees of IT company got this gift

To encourage its employees, an IT firm in Chennai recently gifted 100 Maruti Suzuki cars to its employees. The company, Ideas2IT, said it was gifting the cars to its 100 employees in recognition of their continued support and ‘unique’ contribution to the company’s success and growth, according to a report. The cars include high-end models like S-Cross and Baleno, and the company spent a total of Rs 15 crore to gift them to the employees.

Ideas2IT CEO Gayatri Vivekanandan on Monday gifted new cars to 100 accredited employees in Chennai. The company’s founder-president Murali Vivekanandan was also present on the occasion, a mega money-sharing event organized in the city, a release published by the company said.

“Ideas2IT, a high-end product engineering firm headquartered in Chennai, today honored its employees by gifting 100 cars to 100 employees for their continued support and unparalleled contribution to the company’s success and growth,” the company said.

“The company provides cutting-edge software projects to Fortune companies like Facebook, Bloomberg, Microsoft, Oracle, Motorola, Roche, Medtronic and many more,” the release said.

“Keeping in mind this steady growth streak enabled by its employees, Ideas2IT has implemented a unique money-sharing initiative. Rewarding these cars is the first step. Ideas2IT plans to launch more such initiatives in the near future,” said Gayatri Vivekanandan.

According to an ANI report, the company’s founder-president Murali Vivekanandan said that gifting these cars was the first step. “Seven-eight years ago we had promised that we will share our assets when we get the lefty targets. Rewarding these cars is the first step. We are planning to take more such initiatives in the near future,” the official told ANI.

“It is always great to receive gifts from the organization; The company shares its happiness with gifts like gold coins, iPhones on every occasion. The car is a big thing for us,” said Prasad, an employee who received the car told ANI.

Founded in 2009 with six selected engineers, Ideas2IT currently has over 500 technologists located in multiple locations including the United States, Mexico and India.

The news comes days after another Chennai-based IT company gifted five of its employees BMW cars to assist their boss in ‘gold-digging’ and weather the firm’s Covid-19 storm, Threatened its existence. According to Suresh Sambandam, CEO of Kissflow Inc., five employees were with him from the inception of the company and stayed with him during the journey.
