Markets will now open in MP till 10 pm: From Tuesday, theaters will start with 50% and restaurants with 100% capacity; 100 people will be able to attend the wedding and 50 people will be able to attend the funeral

Markets in Madhya Pradesh will open till 10 pm from Tuesday. Cinemas will also start with 50% capacity. The government has taken this decision after the review meeting of Corona on Monday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the situation of corona infection in the state is under control. In view of this, it has been decided to give relaxation in some more activities.

Need to be alert from third wave: CM
The Chief Minister said that there is a need to be vigilant about Corona. Cases are increasing in the southern and northeastern states. Infection is not decreasing in Kerala and Maharashtra. Cases are expected to increase in August. The ministers and officers in-charge of the districts should maintain vigilance and activism. The public should be motivated to follow the covid guidelines. Information about genome sequencing released in the state to identify new variants of corona was also given in the meeting.

CM will review the districts with less than 75% vaccination
37% of the population above 18 years of age has been vaccinated in the state. 78% of people have been vaccinated in Indore, 69% in Bhopal, 55% in Shahdol and 51% in Ujjain. The Chief Minister has given instructions to speed up vaccination in Dewas, Anuppur, Panna, Khargone, Sidhi, Umaria, Satna, Bhind and Vidisha. The districts where less than 75% vaccination has been done, those districts will be reviewed separately.

25 oxygen plants out of 176 to be set up in the state
It was informed in the meeting that out of the total 176 oxygen plants being set up in the state, 25 have started. All the plants will be commissioned by 15th September. The Chief Minister instructed the ministers in charge to keep an eye on the preparations required to face the third wave of Corona.

More focus on Bhopal-Indore to prevent infection
The Chief Minister said that special watch should be kept on Bhopal and Indore regarding corona infection. There is more traffic in these cities from other states. At the same time, people keep coming and going from Bhopal and Indore to other districts of the state. On Sunday, 18 corona infected patients were found in MP. Out of this, 8 patients have been found in Bhopal, 3 in Indore, 2-2 in Jabalpur and Neemuch and 1-1 in Rajgarh, Sagar, Shivpuri, Singrauli.
