Marathi Film Satarcha Salman’s Release Date Announced; Deets Below

Actor-director Hemant Dhome’s much-awaited Marathi film Sataracha Salmaan starring Suyog Gorhe, Shivani Surve and Sayali Sanjeev is garnering a lot of love from movie buffs on social media. Recently the release date of the film was announced and the poster was also released by the team. The film is all set to release on March 3, 2023.

Sayali also took to Instagram on 13 February to announce the release. He shared the poster of the film with the caption, “Yener tadak… dinar dhadak… public karal kalla ram… satar se salman coming to ruckus in theaters from 3rd March 2023!” Which roughly translates to, “The film will enthrall the audience and create chaos in the theatres. Sataracha Salman will release on March 3, 2023.”

The post got 4.48k likes. Many people congratulated the actor on the release of the film in the comments. Some used emojis and others wished the makers and the actor success in the film.

The story of Satracha Salman revolves around a boy who chases his dreams. The tagline of the film’s story as per the teaser is, “Before dreams come true, you have to chase them.” Hemant has also written the film. It also stars Makarand Deshpande, Anand Ingale and Akshay Tanksale in pivotal roles.

Shivani was earlier seen in Valvi. The actress won hearts across the state. The film did well at the box office and his performance in the film partly fueled the hype around Satracha Salmaan.

Hemant recently posted a picture from his “writing session” for Jhimma 2, the sequel to his film by the same name. The writer-director has already shared his feelings about Jhimma and informed that it was much more than just a film for him, calling it his passion project. It was well received by the audience as well, which is why Hemant has decided to write a sequel to the film. Aanand L Rai is also on board and promises to make the second part “bigger and better”.
