Marathi actors Amruta Deshmukh and Prasad Jawade got engaged on July 18, this year. Now, they are all set to tie the nuptial knot on November 18. Only 25 days are left for their marriage. Both actors fell for each other during their stint in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3. They also had their share of altercations, but the duo formed a bond during the show. In an interview with a portal, Amruta recently revealed why she decided to tie the knot with Prasad. The Abhay actress said that she likes a lot of things about Prasad’s personality. She said, “He keeps the house very tidy. I’m not that much into cooking, but when I thought about marriage, I knew that after marriage the responsibility of cooking might fall on me. I was also prepared for this, but Prasad makes very good meals.”
Amruta said that he can do everything. The actress decided to move in with him while dating, as she felt that he was the one she wanted to live her life with. Amruta also emphasised the importance of marriage and said that everyone has to tie the knot after a certain point in time. She said that they decided to take the biggest plunge in their life after a lot of discussion.
In another interview, Amruta said that they plan to keep their wedding ceremony quite simple, like their engagement. She said that when she met Prasad during the show, she didn’t know him very well. According to Amruta, they connected organically and felt happy that they sustained their bonds despite a few ups and downs.
Prasad shared a different version of their love story in an interview with a portal. Prasad said that he had performed a cameo in a television show in 2014 and that’s when he first met Amruta. According to him, they both lost touch after that, but he started following her on social media. The Mr & Mrs Sadachari actor said that he would watch her videos and reels regularly, and was fond of her. “I believe in spirituality, and somehow, I felt that we were destined to be together,” he said.
