Many students of Gadhaji troubled by the presence of secondary examinees, even after filling the form

Last year the secondary examination was not held due to the increase of Corona. This year the number of secondary students is 11 lakh 26 thousand 63 people. Which seems to be the record of a section of the education community. However, this year many candidates did not appear in the secondary examination. The administration has expressed concern about the absence of candidates in different schools on the first day of the examination. However, the number is not yet announced by the Board of Secondary Education. However, the manner in which the secondary students remained absent on the first day is a matter of increasing concern. Because never before had so many secondary students been absent.

Murshidabad is ahead in terms of absenteeism. Out of 281 candidates of Raja Vijay Singh Vidyalaya of this district, 29 candidates remained absent. In West Bengal Kumari High School in Kochbehar, 26 out of 410 candidates failed in the examination. Again 26 candidates remained absent at 6 examination centers in Kalyani. Now the Board of Secondary Education cannot give the exact reason why the examinees did not appear.

However, according to a section of teachers, this year there has been a glitch in admission to the medium, due to which many could not appear in the examination. The Board of Secondary Education again said that many of them were hospitalized due to illness. Again, many were not allowed to enter the examination center as the clipboard was not transparent. However, it has been seen that even after filling the form, many candidates did not come to collect the admit card. This was stated by Saudipta Das, secretary of the collegium of assistant principals and assistant principals. “Even after filling the form, many people did not come to collect the admit card,” he said.

According to a section of teachers, this time many examinees felt that they could not take the offline examination due to Corona. Because of this they were not ready. However, they did not appear for the exam as it was not online as expected. Also, due to irregularities in reading for the last two years, many secondary students have got married. On top of that many students have moved to the Vine State again for a livelihood. As a result, a section of the teachers feel that this time many candidates did not take the secondary examination. Aditi Mukherjee Majumdar, headmistress of Binuria Sumitra Girls’ School in Birbhum, said: Because of this she did not take the exam.
