The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet in the murder of Mansukh Hiren, the owner of an explosive-laden Scorpio found near Mukesh Ambani’s house Antilia. The NIA has made 10 people, including Sachin Vajhe, accused in the 10,000-page chargesheet. It has been said in the chargesheet that Rs 45 lakh was given to get Mansukh killed.
On June 9, the special court had given two months to the NIA to present the chargesheet in the Mansukh case. The investigating agency told the court that so far the statements of 150 witnesses have been recorded. A team has also questioned some people by going to Delhi for investigation.

NIA is also probing two phones
NIA has seized two phones in Mansukh case. These phones were recovered from Tehseen Akhtar, the alleged head of Indian Mujahideen lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail. Akhtar has admitted that both these phones belong to him. In this regard, the NIA told the court that the investigation of these phones can also lead to many important revelations, so some more time is needed.
Jaish-ul-Hind took the responsibility
An explosive-laden Scorpio was found outside Antilia on 25 February. A few days later, by sending two messages on Telegram, a terrorist organization named Jaish-ul-Hind took the responsibility of keeping the explosives. According to sources, Akhtar has told the NIA that he did not send messages on Telegram. At the same time, NIA is also investigating the evidence found against a senior officer of Mumbai Police in this case. After the investigation, permission for the arrest of that officer will also be sought.
So far these people have been arrested in the Mansukh case.
NIA has so far arrested sacked API of Mumbai Police Sachin Vajhe, Encounter Specialist Pradeep Sharma, Riyazuddin Qazi and Sunil Mane in Mansukh case. The NIA had also arrested former police constable Vinayak Shinde and cricket bookie Naresh Gor. All these accused are presently in judicial custody.
