Manoj Bajpayee’s father RK Bajpayee dies at the age of 83, funeral will be held in Delhi

Padma Shri awardee and actor Manoj Bajpayee’s father RK Bajpayee passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 83. According to reports, the condition of Manoj’s father was very critical for the last few days. A few days back the actor had reached Delhi from Kerala, where he was shooting for a project. According to a statement by the actor’s spokesperson, the last rites will be performed at Delhi’s Nigam Bodh Ghat at 1.30 pm. The actor has also requested privacy for him and his family.

The actor shares a very close bond with his father. On several occasions the actor has expressed his love for his father and his cooking, be it on social media or in interviews. Manoj hails from Bihar and shifted to Delhi for studies. He later moved to Mumbai to start his career in films.

Earlier, a source had told The Indian Express, “Manoj’s father is in critical condition. After learning about his father’s health, Manoj reached Delhi to be with his father and his family. He was shooting for his project in Kerala.”
