Maniesh Paul shares how Jagjag Jio co-star Varun Dhawan asked him to ‘think like an actor’; why over here

Maniesh Paul recently shared the screen with Varun Dhawan for Jagjag Jio. Manish played the role of Kiara Advani’s brother in the film. While Manish’s performance in the film is being widely appreciated, recently the actor opened up about his bond with Varun and revealed what used to happen when they went out for promotions.

Maniesh Paul shared how Badrinath Ki Dulhania used to ask him not to be the host whenever he took the mic during promotional events. “Varun keeps on pulling me many times. Like we were going for promotions and not everyone, he would say, ‘No hosting, you are an actor. Think like an actor’. Because I would usually watch the mic and something would happen to me. So that was the one who was holding me, (and used to say) ‘No relax, you’re an actor now. Think like an actor’. So it was very important,” he told Pinkvilla.

Manish also talked about the ‘overwhelming’ response he is getting after the release of Jugjug Jio. He shared how he did not expect such a response from the audience and said that it was all because his character was written very well. “People will like me so much in this, I had no expectation. Yes, of course, when I saw the screening with the fans, they were thrilled. The reactions I was getting on every scene, every entry I was getting was tremendous. I was very happy and excited to see this,” he said.

Talking about Jagjag Jio, this film was released on June 24. Apart from Manish and Varun, it also starred Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
