Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan-1: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi and Vikram’s film OUT! Motion poster of!

The makers of upcoming periodical “Ponniyin Selvan” on Saturday unveiled the first motion poster of their next magnum opus project. Directed by Mani Ratnam, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is a pan-India film starring South actors Vikram, Jairam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Bollywood actors. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. AR Rahman Music is all set to hit the theaters on September 30, 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Production house ‘Lika Productions’ shared the motion poster of the much-awaited film on Twitter and captioned it, “Watch out! Brace yourselves. Get ready for an adventure. Cholas are coming! #PS1 #maniratnam.”

The motion poster read, “Chol aa rahe hai” and people can be seen holding saffron flags on the poster.

A while back, the makers shared the first look poster of the three actors and tweeted, “Wishing our President Alliraja Subhaskaran a very Happy Birthday! Golden Age arrives on the big screen on 30th September! #PS1 #PS1FirstLooks @MadrasTalkies.”

‘Ponniyin Selvan’ marks the ‘Devdas’ actor’s second collaboration with South actor Vikram after critically acclaimed film ‘Raavan’ in 2010, and fourth collaboration with director Mani Ratnam after ‘Iruvar’ in 1997, in 2007′ Guru’ and ‘Raavan’ in 2010. The big budget periodical will release in multiple parts and ‘Dhoom: 2’ will feature the actor in a double role.

Soon after the motion poster of the film was out, fans flooded the comments section with heart and fire emoticons as the excitement for Mani Ratnam’s next film reached a new level. Another user wrote, “The dream of Tamil cinema…let’s show it to the world” followed by fire emojis.

The makers unveiled the first look posters of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi and Trisha from the film in March 2022.
