Mysore: Mandya Excise officials have arrested two persons, who allegedly possessed around 3 kg of ganja. Acting on a tip-off, a team of excise officials detained Karthik alias Mylari Koththatty-Bannur Road In Mandya taluk and on Wednesday evening, 2 kg of ganja was found with him.
On the same day, the police arrested Manu, who allegedly had 970 grams of ganja, the police said. Both have been sent to judicial custody after registering a case under the NDPS Act. Excise officials are probing from where they got the ganja. Vijaykumar KT, DSP, Excise (Mandya), stated that in both the cases the ganja was procured from Mysore District. Investigation is on to arrest another absconding accused.
