Filmmaker Raj Kaushal, husband of actress Mandira Bedi, passed away on Wednesday morning. Raj reportedly died of a heart attack. Several friends and industry colleagues took to social media on Wednesday to mourn his demise. Many friends and film industry colleagues came for Raj’s prayer meeting or Chauth. Among them was Mouni Roy, a close friend of Mandira.
Mouni posted a picture from Raj’s prayer meeting. “We all miss you Raazi” read an engraved plate under his picture. Mouni posted the picture with the caption, “We do… it will never be the same again..”
Raj, known for directing films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhie and Shaadi Ka Laddu, died of a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday. His last rites were performed at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar, where close friends of the industry including actors Ronit Roy, Sameer Soni, Ashish Chowdhary and “Pyaar Mein Kabhie” actor Dino Morea were present.
