Man jumps to death from 5-star in Mumbai | Mumbai News – Times of India

MUMBAI: A 59-year-old man undergoing psychiatric treatment committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of Saint Regis hotel in Lower Parel Sunday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Sohrab Pesi Khandalawala, a resident of Churchgate. He was declared dead before admission at Nair hospital.
As per NM Joshi Marg police, the incident took place around 1pm. We are told that after lunch he strolled near the balcony area and jumped. We are told that he was in depression and was under treatment, said an officer.
