Malaika Arora discharged from hospital, returns home after car accident

Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has been discharged from the hospital a day after her car accident. The actress is back home and is recovering.

According to the statement issued by Apollo Hospitals last night, Malaika has not suffered any major injuries. A CT scan was done and the actress was kept in the hospital for observation only. “Actress Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; The CT scan has gone well and he is doing well at the moment. The actor will be kept under observation overnight and will be discharged tomorrow morning.”

Malaika Arora’s car met with an accident on the expressway in Maharashtra’s Khopoli on Saturday night. The actress was returning from Pune after attending a fashion show.

Earlier, Malaika’s sister Amrita had also told ETimes that, “Malaika is getting better now”.

“The accident happened at 38 km point on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, which is an accident prone zone. Three vehicles collided with each other and all three vehicles were damaged. The motorists fled soon after the accident and hence it is not clear what kind of injuries occurred. We have been told that all have suffered very minor injuries,” said police inspector Shirish Pawar of Khopoli police station.
