Actor Nani, who was recently seen in Shyam Singha Roy, will next play the lead role in Dussehra, in which he will reportedly also adopt the Telangana dialect. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and also features Srikanth Odella as the director.
Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the lead role. Popular music director Santosh Narayan will give music for the film. In this film, Nani will be seen in a different look and will speak in the dialect of Telangana, which is why she has also hired a tutor.
The makers of Dussehra are building a village on about 12 acres in the suburbs of Hyderabad. They are spending around Rs 12 crore just on the sets. Apart from the main scenes, most of the shooting of the film will take place here.
Nani’s latest Shyam Singha Roy has received critical acclaim and did decent business at the box office. It has got the best response in the two Telugu states as well as in the US. The film is available for streaming on Netflix.
The film was produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Nebula Entertainment. Mickey J Meyer composed the music for the film, which is considered to be the highest grossing film of Nani’s career at Rs 50 crore.
Among other films, Nani will be seen in director Vivek Atreya’s Purva Sundaraniki. The film is said to be in the adult comedy genre and will be produced by Maitri Movie Makers. Nazriya Nazim will be seen opposite Nani in this film. Vivek Sagar has composed the music of the film.
