Adivasi Shesha’s Major, based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, released on the silver screen today, June 3. The much-awaited film celebrates the life of Major Unnikrishnan, who lost his life during the 26/11 terror attacks. Many celebrities including Unnikrishnan’s parents attended the special screening of the film. The actor shared a picture on his social media handle, in which he can be seen sharing an emotional moment with Unnikrishnan’s mother.

Based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who is known for his bravery during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the film is not about the death of a brave soldier, but about celebrating his life. The film is directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Mahesh Babu. Major also stars Shobhita Dhulipala, Sai Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi Nair and Murli Sharma.
