Jamshedpur: Has been MP for two times jamshedpurelectric burner mahtovisited the Covid-19 vaccination center at the state-run Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital (MGMMCH) on Thursday and took stock of the ongoing vaccination programme.
The MP lauded the nurses and staff at the vaccination center for their tireless efforts in keeping the pandemic under control. Mahto said that 100 crore people in the country can die only because of the support medical staff at the vaccination centres.
He appreciated the hard work of strengthening the hands of the employees of the Center PM Narendra Modi to wipe out covid.

Later, Mahto said that the first and second wave of the pandemic caused great loss of human life as vaccines were not available. He expressed confidence that with around 100 crore people vaccinated in the country, the chances of a third wave are remote. However, he cautioned that people should not get complacent and let down their guard, which can be dangerous. He advised that everyone should strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol.
On the alleged shortage of oxygen for Covid patients during the second wave of the pandemic, he said there is adequate supply at present. He said that the Prime Minister is keeping a close watch on all the areas related to Kovid.
