The official title of SSMB28 will reportedly be announced on May 31.
As per reports, the makers of SSMB28 are choosing between titles like Amaravathi Attu Ittu, Guntur Karam and Oruki Monagadu.
After the massive success of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, fans of Mahesh Babu are waiting with bated breath to see him again on the silver screen. The Telugu heartthrob has joined hands with director Trivikram Srinivas for the project titled SSMB28 for now. While the shooting of this much-awaited drama has already begun, the makers are yet to decide on the title of the film.
Now, the latest buzz about this much-awaited drama is that the makers are choosing between titles like Amaravathi Attu Ittu, Guntur Karam and Uriki Monagadu. It might interest you to know that Oruki Monagadu is the title of Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna Bhattamaneni’s 1981 film, which was directed by filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao. The buzz also suggests that the Spider actor is all set to announce the title of his much-awaited film on May 31, the birth anniversary of his father Krishna. However, nothing has been made official yet.
Prior to SSMB28, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas have previously given hits like Athadu and Khaleja. The superstar will be seen romancing Beast actress Pooja Hegde in the untitled venture. Apart from these two, Sreeleela will also be seen playing an important role in the film. The rest of the cast has been kept a secret for now.
Now talking about the technical crew of the film, PS Vinod is looking after the work of the cinematographer of the film, while Naveen Nooli is the head of the editing department. Additionally, Anbu-Arivu is on board as choreographers, and S Thaman is composing the songs and background score for SSMB28.
After wrapping up work on SSMB28, as per reports, Mahesh Babu will helm RRR director SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29. The screenplay of this film, which became famous all over the world, has been written by SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad.
Meanwhile, 2022 proved to be an extremely challenging year for Mahesh Babu as he lost both his parents and his elder brother. Veteran actor and his father Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy passed away on November 15, 2022 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
