BhiwandiA case has been registered against two people for allegedly having unnatural sex with a 19-year-old transgender man at Bhiwandi in Thane district, a police official said on Sunday. Police said that the incident took place late on Thursday night when the victim was returning home after purchasing some items from a shop.
The incident took place in Shantinagar police station area on January 6 and the case was registered on Saturday, he said.
“The victim was sexually assaulted by the two accused after they fed her alcohol. They also thrashed her when she refused to have sex with them,” he said.
Police sources said that after learning about the incident, other transgender persons reached the house of the accused, where they ransacked his house late on Thursday night and reached the local Shanti Nagar police station to register a case against the accused.
