Maharashtra: RPF personnel rescue another passenger at Kalyan station, second incident within 24 hours. Thane News – Times of India

Kalyan : In another incident within 24 hours Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel saved the life of a man Welfare Railway station in Thane district of Maharashtra.
The incident took place on Thursday morning when constables Radhika Sen and Vaishali Patel were posted at platform number 4/5. At around 11.40 hrs, train number 01055 (Godan Express) reached platform no 4. When the train started exiting the platform, a man, later identified as Ramashankar Pal (48), fell from him while handing over some bags to his uncle Chandrapal Satipal (48), who was traveling in the train.
As soon as Radhika and Vaishali saw Pal falling, they immediately dragged him away from the train, saving him from getting stuck between the platform and the train.

Pal said that he had come to Kalyan station to drop his uncle going to his village. Since the bag he was carrying was heavy, he could not hand it over to his uncle in time, and instead lost his balance and fell.
On Wednesday, alert RPF personnel Mangesh Vahan saved the life of a woman passenger who was trying to alight from a moving train when she came to know that the train she was traveling in was wrong.
Meanwhile, after two similar incidents in a span of just 24 hours, the Central Railway appealed to the passengers not to board or alight the moving trains and risk their lives.
