The recovery rate of patients is 94.95 percent
According to a statement issued by the state health department, 33,470 new Covid cases were reported in Maharashtra on Monday with 8 deaths. The mortality rate in the state is 2.03 percent. On Monday, 29,671 patients were cured in the state. Also, 66,02,103 patients were discharged today after fully recovering. The recovery rate in patients is 94.95 percent.
Out of 7,07,18,911 lab samples, 9.83 per cent have tested positive for COVID 19 today. At present 12,46,729 people are in home quarantine while 2505 people are in institutional quarantine.
Mumbai on Monday recorded a decline in coronavirus cases for the third day with a record 13,648 cases. The total tests conducted on Monday stood at 59,242. The positivity rate stood at 23 per cent on Monday.
Pune saw its biggest single-day jump during the third wave and reported 6,464 new cases on Sunday. Mumbai reported 19,474 cases on Sunday, slightly less than the 20,318 cases reported on Saturday.
