Maharashtra Political Crisis: Amid the ongoing political developments in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra, one of the Shiv Sena ministers, one of Eknath Shinde’s dissidents, commented on the NCP and Congress. He said the MLAs have no grievance against the Shiv Sena leadership, but they are upset with the working style of the other two ruling alliance partners in the state, NCP and Congress.

Shiv Sena MLAs, who revolted against the party by putting the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in trouble in Maharashtra, reached Guwahati city of Assam on a chartered plane on Wednesday.

Speaking to a TV channel over phone, Maharashtra minister Sandipan Bhumare, who is among the dissidents, said, “We have no complaint against the Shiv Sena leadership. We have made our complaint with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, that it is difficult. It was very difficult for us to work with NCP and Congress ministers to get our proposals and work requests approved by their ministers.

Responding to a question, Bhumare said that he has been given the cabinet portfolio and he is satisfied with it. “What more do I want in life. But, as a public representative, I need to address the grievances of my people. I could not do it properly because of these two alliance partners,” he said.

Meanwhile, another disgruntled Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Sirth told a TV channel that 35 of the party’s MLAs are in Guwahati. He claimed, “Some more MLAs will join us by this evening. We also have the support of three independent MLAs. The top six also hit out at the state NCP and Congress ministers and claimed that their “hostile behaviour” has made the Shiv Sena MLAs angry. forced to revolt.
