Maharashtra Political Crisis Live UpdatesAs the political turmoil continues in Maharashtra, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has ordered a floor test for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in the state. Shiv Sena is likely to move the Supreme Court against the order today. Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Devendra Fadnavis along with eight independent MLAs on Tuesday submitted a letter to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari demanding an immediate floor test. On Tuesday, CM Thackeray had appealed to the rebel MLAs to come for talks. Meanwhile, rebel leader Eknath Shinde said that he would soon return to Mumbai and that his faction was “taking Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena forward”. Shinde has claimed the support of over 50 MLAs.
