Maharashtra: No new covid case in last 48 hours in 7 districts of Vidarbha. Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: In the last 48 hours, no case was reported in seven districts including three in Nagpur division and four in Amravati division. Only four cases were registered on Diwali celebrated on Thursday VidarbhaWhich is the lowest level so far this month. Seven cases came on Friday.
Testing in the region went up to just over 1,800 as most of the centers remained closed due to Diwali celebrations.
On Thursday, three cases were reported from Nagpur district and one from Chandrapur district. No case was reported in Amravati division comprising five districts on Diwali.
In Nagpur, probably after July last year, the daily tests came down to 563 on Friday. Two of these persons tested positive in samples processed in private laboratories. Zero cases were reported in the district on Thursday.
There was no testing in Bhandara on Friday. Though more than 200 tests were conducted in other districts, some of them did not report a case.
Now, Vidarbha has 76 active cases and most of the patients do not require hospitalisation.
Washim: Neither any new case nor any recovery came, while there was no change in toll. Now there are three active cases.
Gondia: The district did not report any covid case and also granted leave as the district is covid free for now.
Buldhana: No new case has been reported in the district. According to official figures, the district did not report any recovery. Nine patients are currently undergoing treatment.
Akola: Barring eight active cases, neither any new case was reported nor any patient was cured in the district.
Gadchiroli: A new case came up in the district but one patient got cured. Three patients are being treated in this.
Amravati: None of the 27 samples tested on Friday came back positive. Two recoveries took the total to 94,551. No death was reported. There are currently five active cases in the district.
Yavatmal: Not a single death has been reported in the district in the last 48 hours, the death toll on Friday was 1,787. Of the 247 tests, five came back positive, while three patients were cured. Now there are seven active cases. The caseload is 72,914, which includes 71,120 recoveries. The administration has kept 2,168 beds ready for Kovid patients.
Wardha: Two samples came positive in 207 tests on Thursday, while no report was received on Friday. The caseload stands at 49,410 which includes 48,075 recoveries and 1,326 deaths. Five patients are undergoing treatment.
Chandrapur: Active cases take up to 11 as the district recorded zero new case while one patient got cured on Friday. No death was reported. The district’s caseload stands at 88,871, including 87,264 recoveries and 1,542 deaths.
