Maharashtra: MVA govt implicating our corporators in false cases, say Kalyan-Dombivli BJP leaders | Thane News – Times of India

THANE: On the backdrop of the forthcoming Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation elections, the BJP has made serious against the Maha Vikas Aghadi for targeting BJP corporators in the twin cities and implicating them in false criminal cases to pressurise them to join their party.
Former BJP MLA Narendra Pawar on Tuesday held a press conference over the issue and said that a morcha will be held at the additional commissioner of police’s office next Saturday to demand an answer from the government and police administration.
The KDMC The election is likely to be held in the next 2-3 months. Pawar alleged that the MVA government was using pressure through the police to increase its strength and harass BJP corporators and office-bearers.
Pawar said cases registered BJP corporator Sachin Khema, Manoj Rai and Kunal Patil in the last few days are false and also made serious against that they were being deliberately targeted by MVA government to join their party.
Pawar said that on Saturday, the BJP will hold a protest under BJP MLA and general secretary Ravindra Chavan at the ACP’s office.
Kalyan city’s president Premnath Mathre and other leaders were also present at the press conference.
