A meeting was held in the sports complex on Saturday to review the works of the under-construction International Sports University. The video states that the BJP MLA said that the meeting was attended by Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra Sports Minister Sunil Chhatrapal and Minister of State Aditi S Tatkare.

The department said, “On June 26 for a sports event at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, only 1 vehicle was allowed to use the concrete road near the athletic track, but some vehicles suddenly reached there, for which we I’m sorry.”
“The Sports Minister has taken cognizance of the incident and instructions have been issued to ensure that vehicles are not allowed on the athletic track,” the statement said.
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju also pitched the controversy, saying: “Anyway our country lacks adequate sports facilities. All sports centers need proper care.”
