Maharashtra FYJC Admission to start after CBSE 10th Result

Admission Process for Maharashtra First Year Junior College (FYJC) Or class 11 admission will start after the declaration of class 10 result central board of secondary education (CBSE). The result is likely to be out by July 15. usually, CBSE Announces class 10 results before Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) But this year it is the opposite.

“Every year around five per cent of the total admissions to the 11th state junior college boards are from the CBSE board. Hence, the government has decided to wait for the students of other boards for 11th online admission (to get justice to all),” Mahesh Palkar, Director of Education, Maharashtra was quoted as saying by Free Press Journal.

Palkar said that the School Education Department is making all necessary arrangements to ensure early and smooth admission to class 11. This year FYJC admission process has faced many delays. It was initially supposed to be launched in May, but was postponed due to various reasons. The registration is likely to start at 11thadmission.org.in after the declaration of CBSE Class 10 result.

During the registration for the common admission process, candidates have to submit the preference list of the colleges of their choice where they wish to take admission. A student can fill at least one and maximum 10 colleges in the preference form. The allotment of seats is done as per the merit of the candidate.

MSBSHSE declared the SSC or Class 10 results on June 17. Board recorded total 96.94% pass percentage 12,210 schools have registered 100% result. The pass percentage of girl students was marginally better with 97.96 per cent, while it was 96.06 per cent for boys. A total of 16,38,964 students had registered for the Maharashtra SSC or Class 10 board exams this year. In this 8,89,505 were male and 7,49,458 were female.
