Maharashtra: Covid-19: 466 recoveries, 377 test positive, eight more dead in Pune Metropolitan Region Pune News – Times of India

Pune: 466 COVID-19 recovery recorded in Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) On Tuesday, the total number of recoveries so far is above 11.24 lakh.
The progressive count of positive cases reached 11.47 lakh on Tuesday, including 377 new cases, said the daily Covid-19 report released by the district administration. With eight more deaths due to Covid, the death toll in PMR has risen to 19,053.
The total active cases in PMR remained below 5,000, with 2,307 patients being treated in hospitals and 1,882 patients in home isolation.
Rural areas recorded the highest number of 177 fresh cases on Tuesday, followed by PMC limits (112) and PCMC areas (68). Other areas of the region such as councils, cantonments reported 15 and 5 cases respectively.
According to the death reports, those who succumbed to Covid also had concomitant ailments like hypertension, diabetes, breathing problems and heart problems.
