Mahaparinirvana Day 2021: Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, died on 6 December 1956. Born in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, Ambedkar was the 14th and last child of his parents. He was primarily an economist and educationist. Babasaheb was also the flag bearer of India’s Dalit activism, who is called the main architect of the Indian Constitution.

BR Ambedkar was as the chairman of the constitution drafting committee for the constitution of the independent India On August 29, 1947. He was also the Law Minister of India after independence.
