Highly placed jail sources told TOI that both Anand Giri and Aadya Prasad Tiwari looked nervous and tense in their respective barracks ever since they were brought to the jail on Wednesday evening.
While Aadhya Prasad did not eat dinner on Wednesday night, Anand Giri, known for his seductive lifestyle, had dinner according to the jail manual.
Jail sources said that on Thursday, both ate bread, gram, jaggery and tea for breakfast and rice, lentils and vegetables for lunch. Apart from this, they will be served roti, chana dal and vegetables for dinner.
Jail sources said, “Anand Giri and Aadhya Prasad Tiwari were seen roaming inside their barracks and remained tense till they went to sleep on Wednesday.” Jail authorities on Thursday observed his behavior to be normal and he was also provided with some medicines which they have taken to look for his ailments.”
Anand Giri reportedly also read some books.
Meanwhile, jail officials said that Anand Giri and Aadya Prasad have been provided facilities as per the jail manual. Besides, they have been kept in separate barracks for security reasons.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court on Wednesday sent both the accused, accused of abetting Narendra Giri to suicide, to 14-day judicial custody. They were sent to Naini Central Jail and were also medically examined during their entry into their respective high security barracks.
Anand Giri, who was hit by the storm, is known for his lucrative lifestyle. Their pictures in attractive cars and abroad have gone viral on social media many times.
