Madurai: A private Hospital In madurai has launched a free emergency ambulance service,
Free ambulance service to be available within 15 km radius of Apollo Specialty Hospital KK Nagar who started the service.
Patients can dial 1066 to avail this service. An advanced GPRS-enabled ambulance will be dispatched with trained paramedics equipped with necessary critical care equipment.
During the transfer to the hospital, the vital organs of the patient will be monitored and the two-way communication between the ambulance and the hospital will help in ensuring a thorough update on the patient’s condition.
The GPRS-enabled tracking will also give the hospital emergency team an accurate patient arrival time so that they can plan steps to treat the patient after arrival.
