The Madras High Court has given the green signal for the meeting of the AIADMK General Council to be held in Chennai on Monday, 11 July. Justice Krishnan Ramasamy dismissed O Panneerselvam’s plea to stay the meeting, where the agenda would be to revive the interim secretary general’s post. and abolition of coordinator as well as joint coordinator positions.
Hours before the Madras High Court verdict, Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) and O Panneerselvam (OPS) groups pelted stones. Supporters of both the leaders attacked each other on the streets with sticks and chairs.
