Victim’s lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan Said, “My client is unhappy with the order passed by the sessions court in Dindoshi, this is a serious matter which the court should have looked into judiciously. There is prima facie allegation of rape on false promise of marriage, several times without her consent.” Forced abortion, a child being born to a rape accused, the latter has deserted them both. Though, it is believed to be a consensual relationship, the court should have observed that the same was false promises of marriage. There are other girls who have also faced the same accused is from Rahul Jain and is ready to come forward.He keeps on hunting innocent women through his social media accounts and same against all uses modalities.”
“We have now moved the Bombay High Court for cancellation of anticipatory bail, the matter will be listed on January 13, 2022,” he said.
A copy of the application was sent to ETimes by lawyer Ali Kashif Khan. Reportedly, even after being granted the benefit of anticipatory bail, the accused tried to contact the victim on WhatsApp by sending a message, which he deleted within seconds before reading it. The victim has filed a new NC for this.
The matter first came to light when Jain’s girlfriend and the mother of his child accused him and his family of abandoning him in mid-October. The complainant had said that Rahul forced her to undergo abortion twice in the name of her career and did not want people to know about their relationship and child. She had also alleged that Rahul Jain made financial gains at her expense.
