Around 20 chartered flights are expected to land and take off at the airport daily between February 10 and 15

Air travelers to and from the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport in Lucknow will face FaceTime problems and delays in mid-February.

The airport will receive a large number of chartered flights for the Global Investors Summit and G20 event from February 10 to 15, which will see a large number of VVIPs arriving during this period.

Around 20 chartered flights are expected to land and take off at the airport daily between February 10 and 15.

Representatives of leading industrial houses have already booked parking spots for their planes.

However, the airport authorities refused to reveal the names of the industrial houses who had informed about the arrival of their private planes.

An airport official said, “We have information about 20 chartered flights landing at the airport but it is not a big deal as we have seen around 22 such flights landing here during elections.” We have the facilities to accommodate these aircraft in our three bay areas.”

However, passengers arriving to catch their flights during these days are advised to arrive early as there may be traffic jams and route diversions due to VVIP movement and major security checks on the airport road.

All VVIPs will be brought out through VVIP exits for security reasons.

An airport spokesperson said, “We are aware of the arrival of these VVIPs but we cannot tell everything to everyone due to security reasons.” We have to maintain secrecy for VVIPs. All I can say is that he will be welcomed with tilak, garlanded and taken to the lounge. Now we also have bulletproof cars for them.”
