Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the depreciation in the Indian currency and asked whether it was a “democracy” or a “scheming”. His attacks came precisely when BJP leaders attacked the CM at his two-day national meeting in Hyderabad.

The CM told that the PM had asked the same question on the rupee as the CM of Gujarat, but now trying to avoid the question.

“The value of rupee has come down so much, now it is close to Rs 80, it has never happened before in history. It has never decreased as much as it did during PM Modi’s tenure. What is the reason?” Asked Chief Minister KCR.

“Earlier when Modi was the CM of Gujarat, he asked why the Indian rupee is falling? We are also asking the same question now. Never before in history the Indian rupee fell to this level. The value of the rupee never fell. Earlier. It is now close to Rs 80 (for $1),” KCR said.

He also slammed the BJP on its former spokesperson Nupur Sharma, insisting that the political party caused the delegates to apologize internationally,” a BJP spokesperson (Nupur Sharma) lashed out at our representatives and ambassadors. Has apologized in other countries. Why should the country apologize when BJP has done something wrong?”

Telangana Chief Minister was addressing the media from Pragati Bhavan.

Earlier, KCR did not receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad’s Begumpet airport, who had arrived in the city to attend a two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national executive meeting.

“The Weakest and Incompetent PM”

Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the “weakest and incompetent” Prime Minister the country has ever seen, Rao said there is a need for a “dual-engine non-BJP government” at the Centre.

Accusing the BJP-led NDA government of being corrupt, he said the government at the Center would be changed and “malpractices” like coal import pressure on states would be probed.

“The Narendra Modi government should go and a non-BJP government should come. This is our slogan. Thanks to Narendra Modi ji. We accept your offer of Double Engine Development…Double Engine for ‘Sarkar’. Now people should decide which double engine should come, be it BJP double engine or non BJP double engine. The facts and figures clearly say that the country needs a non-BJP double engine government. BJP is not a double engine government. Yes. It is established,” he asserted, adding that non-BJP state governments are more progressive than BJP-ruled ones.

KCR said that he has no personal enmity with Modi, it is against his (Modi’s) policies, against which the southern satrap is against.

“I am saying this and will say this. There was no weak and inefficient prime minister like Modi… the Congress regime had a bad mind. Now, with the policies of your government, there is a capital-drain, resulting in depletion of foreign exchange reserves. has been,” he said.

Alleging that many companies are withdrawing their investments from the country, KCR said: “Make in India” is a huge failure as the country still imports kites and national flags from China.

He said the NDA government should have consulted and taken them into confidence before finalizing schemes like the Army Recruitment Scheme “Agneepath”.

“They say we need a younger generation in the army. Even our country needs a young prime minister,” he said.

He said some retired army officers have realized that “the India-China border is not a laboratory for experiments”.
