During this suddenly a young man with sharp weapons in both hands broke down on Bhajeram. Seeing the companion being attacked, another constable Vijay Singh confronted the attacker with a brick. When the constable ran to escape, he fell on the road.
When the young man attacked the policeman, he fought with his feet. After this the weapon was released from the hands of the youth and he fled. The incident was captured in the CCTV present at Badnore intersection. Bhajeram was first taken to Beawar for treatment in critical condition, later referred to Ajmer.

CCTV related to the incident has surfaced. In which the young man is seen taking out a sharp weapon from a plastic bag. Outside a closed shop at Badnore intersection, he is seen taking out his weapon from a plastic bag and hiding it under a shirt. After some time, with sharp weapons in both hands, he attacked the head constable Bhajerram posted on duty beyond Badnore crossroads. RAC jawan Prakash Chandra, who was present on the spot, also suffered minor injuries.
Police said attack on rumor
Rajsamand SP Sudhir Chaudhary said on Tuesday that the accused attacker Gajendra Singh has been taken into custody by the police. The accused attacker is a resident of Guma Ka Baria area of Thana Kareda in Bhilwara district.
Preliminary inquiry revealed that the youth was tricked by someone. In a fit of rage, he attacked the policeman. Chaudhary says that the police are being attacked due to rumours. Tension has increased again in Bhima area due to this incident.
Chowdhary said that there is a rumor that Bhima, a relative of the accused in the Kanhaiyalal murder case, is in town, he was supposed to give shelter to the accused here. While the truth is that the person about whom such rumors are flying has no connection with the killers even far and wide, it has been investigated.
