Today is 63rd Democracy Day of India. The Constitution of the country was implemented on this day 72 years ago. India became a democracy. This is again the 75th year of the country’s independence. That is why the ‘Festival of Freedom’ is being celebrated by the Central Government. In such a situation, the Republic Day parade will be held in the presence of President Ram Nath Kobind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Indian Navy’s Tablo is participating in the Democracy Parade on the highway. The tablet is designed to highlight the ‘Self-reliant India’ along with showcasing the multi-dimensional capabilities of the Navy. Special mention has been made in the tableau of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

Fifth Battalion of J&K LI after 1970 uniform
A team of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) led by Major Ritesh Tiwari of 5th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir LI marched on the highway. The squad is dressed in the 1970 Indian Army uniform and is armed with a 7.62 mm SLR weapon.

Assam Regiment landed on the streets of Delhi
A team of Assam Regiment took to the streets on Republic Day. The group comprises soldiers from seven northeastern states. The team has won the Republic Day Parade thrice.

Contingents from Centurion Tank, PT-76, MBT Arjun MK-I and APC Topaz are participating in the parade on the highways of Delhi.

Celebrating 63rd Republic Day: Many ‘firsts’ in the parade from the biggest flypast
Although the 63rd Republic Day celebrations in India have been curtailed due to the coronavirus, the madness has not diminished. This year’s Republic Day has become even more special as India celebrates the 75th anniversary of its independence. There are going to be many ‘before’ witnesses during this year’s Republic Day parade. Indian Air Force will do flypast with 75 helicopters/aircraft. After the renovation, five LED screens have been installed on either side of the new style highway. So that viewers can watch Republic Day in a better way. Meanwhile, there has been a slight change in the timing of the start of the parade.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wearing a Netaji cap at the Republic Day parade. Modi started the Republic Day celebrations by paying homage to all the martyred soldiers of the country at the National War Memorial.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh unfurled the national flag at his residence on the occasion of Republic Day. Greeting people on the occasion of Republic Day, Rajnath said, “I extend my best wishes to all Indians on this Republic Day. This year people from different walks of life will be able to watch the Republic Day program Beating the Retreat. Sweepers, rickshaw pullers, auto drivers and health workers have been invited to witness the event.
Change in program of the program in a prestigious environment
Other times during the parade it is kept from 10 am. For the first time it will be organized from 10:30 am. Also, keeping in mind the Kovid, only two vaccinators will be allowed to enter the program as per the rules. Also, no one below 15 years of age is allowed inside.
75 aircraft flypast on the occasion of 75 years
On the occasion of 75 years of independence, for the first time, the National Cadet Corps will organize a program ‘Saat Saat Naman to Martyrs’ on the streets of Delhi. A grand flypast of 75 planes and helicopters can be seen here. It will be monitored by the Indian Air Force.
