Amidst the ruckus over the murder of Taylor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur, Rajasthan, the constable was attacked with a sword in Bhima area of Rajsamand. People were protesting against the Udaipur incident here. When the policeman stopped him, a man in the crowd slashed his neck with a sword.
The seriously injured constable has been referred to Ajmer. Both the killers were caught on Tuesday in Bhima itself. After the attack on constable Sandeep Chaudhary, there was a situation of confrontation between the police and the protesters.
When the police fired tear gas shells, the protesters also pelted stones at the police. SP Sudhir Chaudhary said that about 40 people who were creating nuisance have been detained. Here, the NIA has taken over the investigation of the entire case.
A case has been registered against both the accused under UAPA. The matter is also being investigated from the Terror angle. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot convened an all-party meeting to discuss the situation, although no major BJP leader attended the meeting. At the same time, Jaipur business and Hindu organizations have appealed for city bandh in protest against this massacre. In this regard, a meeting was called by traders and Hindu organizations on Wednesday afternoon, in which BJP state president Satish Poonia was also involved.

Here, Kanhaiyalal, who was killed on Tuesday, was cremated on Wednesday afternoon. A huge crowd gathered for his last journey after the curfew in the city. People raised slogans of ‘hang the killers’. The city also remained closed to protest against Kanhaiya’s murder. After the postmortem, his body was taken home, then his wife cried and said that the killers should be hanged, otherwise these people will kill many people.

On Tuesday, the police arrested both the accused Ghaus Mohammad and Riyaz Jabbar from Rajsamand. Apart from these, 3 other people have also been arrested by the police. In this, one Kanhaiyalal’s neighbor Nazim, who complained to the police, is also there.
Both the accused have been arrested from Bhim area of Rajsamand district adjoining Udaipur on Tuesday evening.
Updates related to the murder
1. Police has imposed a precautionary curfew in 7 areas of the city. On the other hand, in Rajasthan, internet has been closed for 24 hours as a precaution. Section 144 has been imposed for one month. Many cities including Udaipur, Jhalawar, Dungarpur, Rajsamand are closed in protest against the incident. Internet has been suspended indefinitely in 5 districts of Ajmer division.
2. The Home Ministry handed over the investigation of the murder to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Said that any organization and international links will be thoroughly investigated. A 4-member team has reached Udaipur for investigation.
3. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said – There will be a complete investigation into this matter. On the other hand, Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria also reached Udaipur to meet Kanhaiyalal’s family members. He said that there was no fear among the criminals now.
4. BJP MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said on Kanhaiya murder case that this is not an ordinary incident, it is a terrorist incident.
An agreement was reached between the family and the administration at around 10 pm late in the night. After this the body was brought to the mortuary.
Post-mortem report- 26 marks on the body, 8 to 10 times in the throat
Kanhaiyalal’s postmortem was done on Wednesday itself. According to sources, 26 wound marks have been found on the body. 8 to 10 wounds were only on the neck. It has been revealed in the PM report that Kanhaiya’s throat was slit and separated. Both the attackers had entered Kanhaiya’s shop on Tuesday on the pretext of giving the measurement of clothes. After that they brutally murdered him.

CM appeals for peace
CM Ashok Gehlot said – It is a matter of great concern. Murdering someone is worrying. There has been an atmosphere of tension in the whole country. The atmosphere is not good. In the streets and localities where the population is less, they are more worried. There has been tension and distance among themselves. The PM also makes a difference.
After the murder, the administration in Udaipur has closed the markets. Action will be taken when the crowd gathers.
