About Kerala Lotteries:-
Kerala established India’s first lottery department in 1967. The department issued its first lottery ticket on November 1 of the same year. A ticket worth Re 1 had a first prize money of Rs 50,000. The first draw took place on January 26, 1968.
The department now starts seven weekly lotteries- Pratiksha, Dhanashree, Win-Win, Akshay, Bhagyanidhi, Karuna and Poornami lotteries and also releases six bumper lotteries from time to time.
