Bangalore: Amid intense speculation about a possible change of leadership in Karnataka, several seers from the Veerashaiva-Lingayat community on Friday decided to hold a religious head conference, which was called upon to send a loud and clear message to the BJP party high command not to remove the chief. as seen. The conference is seen as the last attempt to save Yeddyurappa from resigning after July 26. Yediyurappa had said that he had not received any message from the party high command till date, but was waiting for his message on the evening of July 25, and till then he would be doing his duty.

After meeting like-minded saints here, seer of Balehosur Math Sri Dingleswara Swamy told reporters that a group of saints of all denominations will meet on Saturday to consider the agenda of Sunday’s convention.

According to him, the agenda of the convention will be finalized by the day-long discussion of the saints on Saturday.

Another prominent Lingayat seer, Rudramuni Sri of Tiptur Math, said that Lingayat monasteries have contributed to the society and whenever there is “confusion” in the society or state, people turn to religious heads to resolve such confusion. lets see.

“Our main agenda will be in the welfare of the society and the state… and nothing else. It is not in favor of anyone or against anyone,” he said secretly, but also added that the conference is not about the current political upheaval in the state. But will speak.

Responding to a question, the seer Dangaleshwar said that there is nothing wrong in religious heads speaking on political issues. “There is no such thing that separates religion or philosophy.
