Vadodara: The Raopura police nabbed a minor boy and a girl from Limkheda who had been on the run since November 2020. The boy was accused of kidnapping the girl and charged of sexual assault under the Protection of Children From Sexual Offenses ,POCSO) Act.
The father of the girl had registered an offense against the boy at the Limkheda police station. Despite efforts, the boy and the girl could not be located till now.
Officials of the Raopura police station were tipped off about the two minors staying in the Subhashnagar slums under the Vishwamitri Bridge. They verified the information and found the two minors there. The families of the boy and the girl were informed by the police and the couple was handed over to the Limkheda police.
Before doing so, officials counseled the girl as well as the boy.
